Soi Dhaga costs a quarter of what most tailoring software costs in India. Here is what that buys, what it leaves out, and who each option suits.

What Soi Dhaga Is
Soi Dhaga is a tailor and boutique app from Soi Dhaga Technologies, aimed at darjis and small tailoring shops. It runs on Android phones and tablets with a browser dashboard alongside. Its site does not mention an iPhone version.
Its own site lists digital measurements, order tracking, a karigar ledger it calls Karigar Khata, WhatsApp bills, QR code tags for garments and profit reports. It is available in English and Gujarati.
Two of those deserve to be called out properly. The karigar ledger with advance payments is a real feature that many bigger products treat as an afterthought, and Gujarati support is genuinely useful in a market where most tailoring software stops at English and Hindi.
What It Costs
Unlike most of its competitors, Soi Dhaga publishes its prices. Read on 23 August 2026:
| Plan | Price | What its site says is included |
|---|
Free trial | ₹0 for 7 days | Full access, no card needed |
Basic | ₹299 a month | Measurements, worker wages, WhatsApp billing, QR tracking, expense reports |
Yearly Premium | ₹2,550 a year | Unlimited customers, unlimited staff, advanced reporting, priority support |
₹2,550 a year is about ₹7 a day. Against Juvee Executive at ₹9,999 a year, Soi Dhaga is roughly a quarter of the price. There is no honest way around that and no point pretending otherwise.
Worth noticing inside their own pricing: the monthly plan at ₹299 works out to ₹3,588 a year, which is more than the yearly plan. If you go with Soi Dhaga, take the yearly one.
The Arithmetic, Done Honestly
| Over | Soi Dhaga yearly | Juvee Executive |
|---|
1 year | ₹2,550 | ₹9,999 |
3 years | ₹7,650 | ₹29,997 |
5 years | ₹12,750 | ₹49,995 |
Prices exclude GST on both sides. On price alone, over any period, Soi Dhaga wins. If the only question is what leaves your pocket, the answer is on this table and you can stop reading.
Where the Arithmetic Stops Being the Whole Story
Their site does not mention GST invoicing
It talks about WhatsApp bills and expense reports, but the letters GST do not appear on the home page at all. That is not the same as saying the app cannot produce a tax invoice, and it would be unfair to claim it. It means you should ask before you decide.
If you are registered, or close to the threshold, this is not a small detail. A WhatsApp bill and a GST tax invoice with a sequential number are different documents, and only one of them will do at filing time.
Free means seven days
Soi Dhaga’s free tier is a trial. After a week you are paying, or you are back to the register. Juvee’s Basic plan is free permanently, with a stated limit of 10 customers and 20 orders a month, so a very small shop can sit on it indefinitely.
For a shop that is testing whether software suits it at all, the difference between seven days and no deadline is larger than the difference in price.
Language cuts both ways
English and Gujarati is a real strength in Gujarat and a real limit outside it. If your counter staff work in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada or Bengali, ask what the app looks like for them before you commit a year of customer data to it.
Who Each One Suits
Soi Dhaga suits you if
- Price is the deciding factor and ₹2,550 a year is the budget
- You work in Gujarati, or your staff do
- Karigar advances and wages are the part of the shop that hurts most
- You do not issue GST invoices and do not expect to
Juvee suits you if
- You issue GST invoices, or you will have to soon
- You want to start at no cost and stay there until the shop is ready to pay
- You run more than one branch, or plan to
- You want the phone and the shop computer on the same account
Four Questions That Settle It
- Does it produce a GST tax invoice with a sequential number, or only a receipt?
- Can I get my customers and measurements out again as a file if I leave?
- What does it cost in year two, after any introductory price ends?
- What does it look like in the language my counter staff actually use?
The second one matters more than people expect. It is the question that decides whether a choice can be undone.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does Soi Dhaga cost?
Its pricing page shows ₹299 a month or ₹2,550 a year, with a 7-day free trial and no card required, read on 23 August 2026. The yearly plan is cheaper than twelve monthly payments.
Is Soi Dhaga free?
Free for seven days. After that it is a paid plan.
Does Soi Dhaga work on iPhone?
Its site names Android phone and tablet apps and a web dashboard. An iPhone app is not mentioned. Ask them directly if that matters to you.
Is cheaper software worse?
Not automatically. It is worse only if it is missing something you actually need. Work out what you need first - GST invoices, karigar records, more than one branch, your own language - and then look at the price.
What is the cheapest way to start?
A permanently free plan beats a seven-day trial for that particular question, because it lets you keep using the software while you make up your mind rather than deciding under a deadline.
Start Without Deciding Anything
The argument for Juvee is not that it is cheaper. It plainly is not. It is that you can begin without a decision:
- The Basic plan is free permanently, with 10 customers, 20 orders a month and one staff login
- GST invoices with proper numbering, not only a WhatsApp bill
- Measurements, orders, pending balances and karigar job cards in one place
- Phone and shop computer on the same account, on every plan
- Paid plans from ₹9,999 a year, about ₹27 a day, and you can stop
For the billing side, see GST billing for tailors.
For karigar work, see tailor job management.
For the phone app, see the Juvee tailor app.
Plans and what each includes are on the pricing page.
Try It on One Real Week
Whichever way you are leaning, run one real week of orders through it first. Ten customers entered properly will tell you more than any comparison table, including this one.
You can explore the 14-day free trial.
After the trial the Basic plan stays free, so there is no deadline to decide by.
